these are the most comfortable kobe shoes I ever tried. I'm on my fourth pair. I work six days a week,12 hours a day, standing all day. for ten years. These are the most comfortable shoes I ever had. The IV version has a leather upper and the sole doesn't disintegrate quickly. The IV version has higher quality than all the former ones, in my view. I don't care if they squeak (mine don't) what I care about is that they take away my feet pain. I tried sketchers shape ups, I tried cheaper airmaxes I tried new balances and this shoe is the most comfortable of all, so far.
I did notice some people have issues with squeaking. This does not happen to me in normal wear but does so on solid (not carpet) flooring when the ground outside is wet and I go inside, such as at a store. Not a big issue for me as many athletic shoes I have owned have done the same. That said, if it does bother you then you should probably avoid them.
The quality of workmanship on my pair is great. They Nike Ken Griffey Jr fit beautifully. I would suggest, as all manufacturers vary to some degree, that you try a pair on before laying down your money. I can wear anywhere between a size 12 and 13, depending on the brand. These nike kobe's I own are a 13. I have worn them in both very hot and quite cold temperatures and my feet stay comfortable in both. As a note about that, I also wear appropriate socks for the weather, ie heavier in cold and lighter in warm/hot.
Great seller, very fast shipping and exactly what my son wanted for Christmas. My son has been wearing these for years and swears by their comfort, durability, and style. FYI: He's a size 13 and has a very wide foot.
